Metro Boomin Gets Fans Pumped With A Teaser For Collaborative Album With Future

The collaboration between Metro Boomin and Future has been the talk of 2023 ever since it was announced a few months ago, but it now appears to be approaching quickly.

The 29-year-old beatmaker updated his followers on Instagram on Tuesday (September 5) by posting a selfie of himself wearing an eagle on his left wrist with the comment, “Me and @future album on the way drop some [three eagle emojis] if you ready #freebandz.”

Fans have consistently asked for more from the duo because they have previously collaborated together and produced quality work. Young Metro’s partnership with Future is the following project on the schedule after he previously completed two blockbuster commitments this year.

Metro recently lost some beats he made for Future due to a power outage at his home studio. Frustrated, he moved to Twitter in late August to announce that some of his efforts had gone to waste, as three distinct instrumentals he put together for his “Mask Off” partner were erased when his house lost electricity.

Metro Boomin collaborated with Future again for his Heroes & Villains album, which was released in December. The Freebandz boss appeared on many songs, including “Superhero (Heroes & Villains)” with Chris Brown, bringing their five-year collaboration drought to an end.
