While planning his 2024 comeback, Metro Boomin has assured supporters that three distinct albums will be available that year. During the Christmas break, Young Metro answered a ton of fan inquiries and told one individual on Twitter that he will have three albums out this year.
In response to a query about how many projects he would be launching in 2024, he wrote, “3 at the very least.”
Although it’s unclear precisely which projects Metro is referencing, he has hinted about highly anticipated collaborative albums with Future and J.I.D. in addition to a solo album. The St. Louis hitmaker went on to describe how, since turning 30 in September, he’s been more “inspired and motivated” than ever.
After the release of his Heroes & Villains album in December 2022, which has been on the Billboard 200 for 55 weeks running, Metro undoubtedly raised his game as a solo artist. Heroes & Villains is the only rap album to reach three billion streams this year and the most streamed album of 2023 with 3.3 billion on Spotify.
