Young Thug’s “Business Is Business” Album Receives A New Metro Boomin Remake

Young Thug’s latest album sparked a lot of buzz in the Hip Hop scene, and executive producer Metro Boomin has changed the tracklist yet again. The majority of the production for Thugga’s third studio album, Business Is Business, was overseen by the St. Louis beatmaker, who even released his own version four days after the original.

Metro stated on Twitter last Tuesday that he has changed five cuts from the tracklist.

He ended the message with the hashtag #FREEJEFF, as the YSL CEO is now incarcerated in connection with his continuing RICO lawsuit.

Metro’s longtime studio colleague Southside, who also produced on the album, recently stated that the complete tracklist was put together in two weeks. He not only referred to his longstanding partner as the finest, but he also referred to Business is Business as the greatest behind-the-scenes album of all time.

Meanwhile, Young Thug has stayed focused on music, both his own and that of his contemporaries. Though he has a lot on his plate, hearing T.I. and Boosie Badazz’s collaborative record is high on his priority list. Last month, the 31-year-old rapper turned to Instagram Stories to push the Southern rap superstars to release the long-rumored collaboration record.
