Metro Boomin Addresses The Viral “You Look Like Metro” Funny Catchphrase

The renowned US producer, Metro Boomin, has finally reacted to the hilarious “you look like Metro”  catchphrase that has been popularized by Nigerians after a funny incident involving Rahman Jago and a member of Roddy Ricch’s team.

Unless you live under a rock, you should already know by now that the famed American rapper, Roddy Ricch, was in the country for a performance. And during his short visit, the rapper linked with a handful of A-listers in the industry, including Asake and his record label boss, Olamide, Burna Boy, dancer and influencer, Poco Lee, and of course, Rahman Jago.

In a now-viral footage, Jago was seen exchanging pleasantries with a crew member of Roddy’s, and he just couldn’t help but express that the crew member in question shared a strong semblance with Metro Boomin. In his words, the successful fashion entrepreneur said, “You look like Metro, bro.”

After the video hit the web and went viral, Nigerians who are always in the search for the next available ‘cruise’ immediately jumped on the train and quickly spun into a whole trend. One that caught Metro Boomin’s eye and prompted a response from him.

In a recent tweet from the producer, who is currently working on his joint project with Future, he gave Jago a shout-out for making him into a trend and also disclosed possible future plans of visiting Nigeria.
