Midge Ure Announces UK ‘Catalogue: The Hits’ Tour 2024

Midge Ure, the acclaimed soloist and former Ultravox frontman, has announced details of his upcoming UK headline tour, ‘Catalogue: The Hits’, which will take place in November and December 2024. The tour will feature many tracks from his extensive career and promises to be an unforgettable experience for his fans. The tour will kick off in Bournemouth and include stop-offs in Oxford, Cardiff, Sheffield, Birmingham, Hull, Leeds, Manchester, Edinburgh, and other locations. One of the tour’s highlights will be a concert at the prestigious London Palladium, which will surely be a night to remember. For those who can’t wait, Ure will also perform at the ’80s-themed festivals Rewind Festival Scotland and Rewind Festival North this summer. These festivals will allow fans to see Ure perform some of his classic hits, and they will be a fantastic experience for all.

It’s worth mentioning that last year, Ure sold his catalogue of music rights to investment company MusicBird, intending to take his songs to new audiences. This move has been applauded by fans and critics alike, and it’s exciting to know that Ure’s music will continue to reach new listeners in the years to come. Tickets for the ‘Catalogue: The Hits tour will go on general sale at 10 am GMT this Friday (March 22). Don’t miss out on seeing one of the most iconic figures in British music history perform live!

Ure said in a statement,

“I performed live long before I was ever allowed anywhere near a recording studio and as much as I love spending time writing and recording, live music remains my first love,”“This ‘Catalogue’ tour will allow me to not only play a wide selection of hits from my past but perform some of the most requested favourites. Revisiting these moments from my musical life is something I am really looking forward to sharing.”
