MTV Video Music Awards 2023: Full Nominations List For The VMAs

With eight and six nominations each, Taylor Swift and SZA are leading the pack for the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. Both received awards in the category of “Video of the Year” for “Anti-Hero” and “Kill Bill,” respectively. They are followed by Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo, Sam Smith, and Kim Petras, all tied for second place with five nominations each. The ceremony will be held on September 12 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The ceremony will showcase live performances from some of the nominated artists.

This year, 35 artists are nominated for the first time, including, among others, Boygenius, GloRilla, Ice Spice, Pink Pantheress, Flo Milli, Reneé Rapp, and Peso Pluma. Lana Del Rey, Bad Bunny, Shakira, Janelle Monae, Paramore, Blackpink, Adele, Rosala, Blink-182, Fall Out Boy, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Diddy, Karol G, Tomorrow X Together, and Metallica are among the other artists nominated for 2023 VMAs. Artist of the Year nominations include Beyoncé. She is not up for any other awards because she didn’t release any music videos after Renaissance’s release. As follows is the list:
