Ayra Starr and Burna Boy are two Nigerian musicians whose music is on former President Obama’s summer 2023 playlist. The only afrobeats songs on the playlist were “Sittin’ On Top Of The World” by Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy, featuring American-based British rapper 21 Savage, and “Sability” by Ayra Starr.
