New Release From Inhaler “Cuts & Bruises”

Inhaler has finally released their much-anticipated second album, Cuts & Bruises, much to the delight of their fans. The album features 11 tracks, including their recent single “If You’re Gonna Break My Heart,” and promises to deliver a range of sounds that showcase the band’s talent.

Produced by Antony Genn, who has worked with the band in the past, Cuts & Bruises was created during a prolonged period of touring, when the band members spent time writing and rehearsing in their hometown of Dublin. The process saw the band jamming in the live room and coming up with ideas on the spot, with their recent months of live performances shaping the direction they wanted to take with the album.

While their debut album It Won’t Always Be Like This was a massive success, Cuts & Bruises promises to offer something different. According to bassist Robert Keating, the band’s sound has evolved and the album is a reflection of their growth. “It was just the four of us jamming in the live room and trying to come up with ideas on the spot,” Keating says. “Playing live for a few months beforehand really helped shape what kind of direction we wanted to take it in.”

The songs on Cuts & Bruises still deal with the subject matters of coming-of-age, but the album also delves into the experiences of being in a band. The tracks are less about the world around them and more about what’s going on inside Inhaler. The album reflects their journey as a band and offers a glimpse into their lives on the road.

It Won’t Always Be Like This, which was released in July 2021, debuted at number one in both the UK and Irish Official Charts. It became the fastest-selling debut album on vinyl by any band this century and saw Inhaler become the first Irish group to top the Album Charts with a debut in 13 years. With Cuts & Bruises, the band is poised to make an even bigger impact on the music scene.

Inhaler’s sound is heavily influenced by 80s and 90s rock, but they’ve managed to put their own unique spin on it. The band’s dynamic energy and Elijah Hewson’s distinctive vocals make for an electrifying performance that’s sure to captivate audiences. With the release of Cuts & Bruises, fans can look forward to an even more polished and mature sound from the band.

Overall, Cuts & Bruises promises to be an exciting addition to Inhaler’s already impressive discography. It’s an album that showcases the band’s evolution and growth, while still staying true to their roots. For fans of the band, it’s an album that’s definitely worth checking out.
