Nicki Minaj Slammed By Fans For “Seemingly Comparing” Megan Thee Stallion And Rihanna Traumas

Nicki Minaj has found herself in a sticky situation after making some recent allegations concerning Megan Thee Stallion and Rihanna. Netizens attacked the “Barbie World” crooner for what appeared to be a comparison between the trauma experienced by the “Umbrella” diva and that of the “Girls in the Hood” rapper.

The 41-year-old hip-hop singer gained much attention on X on Wednesday, January 31. It occurred after she recently showed up for Joe Budden’s Twitter Spaces. She spoke at that point about the traumas suffered by Rihanna, who sustained facial injuries following an attack by Chris Brown, and Megan, who suffered injuries to her feet following a gunshot from Tory Lanez.

Nicki made these accusations amid her feud with Megan after Megan’s song “Hiss,” which is rumoured to be a diss track against Nicki, was released on Friday, January 26. In retaliation, Nicki released the song “Big Foot,” in which she raps about Holly Thomas, Megan’s late mother. The feud has worsened since then.

“Well you know you gonna Google. Here’s the thing, Rihanna is just known for being herself. ‘You get what you see, you see what you get’ type of vibe, right? Rihanna never milked somebody. You could tell she couldn’t wait to try to move on with her life.”

screen grab of some of Nicki’s comments was then made public by user, who tweeted,

“Did she say Megan wanted a Rihanna moment? Comparing traumas like a competition?”

“Joe Budden sat there and listened to this and didn’t say a thing.”

The tweet prompted other X users to discuss the issue. Significant criticism was directed at Minaj after she boldly compared Chris Brown’s felony assault on Rihanna to Meg’s shooting incident with Tory Lanez. Many on the internet thought Minaj had overreached herself by crudely alluding to previous attacks.
