On Teju Babyface’s Podcast, Jim Iyke Discusses His Mother’s Legacy, Faith, And His New Film

Olateju Oyelakin, widely known as Teju Babyface, was joined by Nollywood actor and producer Jim Iyke on the latest edition of his “The Teju Babyface Deep Dive Podcast.”

In this episode, Jim Iyke discussed losing his mother, the sorrow of mourning, preserving his mother’s legacy, faith and religion, manipulators, economics, his current film (Rent a Room), love, and other topics. In addition, the actor recalled his 2013 encounter with the late Synagogue Church leader, Pastor TB Joshua, and other men of God.

Jim made headlines in 2013 after a video surfaced showing him losing his senses after church. He said in an interview with Gbadewonuola Olateju Oyelakin, commonly known as Teju Babyface, that he was at the church because of his mother, and that he was desperate for her healing at the time.

The actor described how he was encouraged to take his sick mother to church for healing, which he consented to because he was willing to go to any length for her. He also described his encounters with other men of God and the money they stole from him.

In other developments, Jim Iyke previously admitted that he organized the viral brawl with his colleague, Uche Maduagwu. Jim explained that it was part of the advertising for his film, Bad Comments. In the interview, the actor referred to the film Bad Comments as one of the most important works of his entire career.
