Phyna Is Invited By The Police For Refusing To Return A Rented Wig
The Nigeria Police have extended an invitation to Josephine Otabor, better known by her Big Brother Naija moniker, Phyna, about her alleged refusal to return a rented wig after the rental period has ended. A hair dealer had accused Phyna of not returning a “rented” wig to the vendor after the rental time had elapsed.
Although Phyna first refuted the accusations, she later admitted to renting the wig in a video posted on her social media page. She claimed that after being called out, she returned the wig, but the hair vendor refused it. She claimed that the stress the hair dealer caused her outweighed the cost of the wig, therefore she chose to keep it.
Phyna stated that she was notified by her younger sister that two police officers, the hair dealer, and an unknown woman were at her residence. She stated that they had brought a letter from the divisional police officer (DPO) in Ogudu, which was from the Lagos police.
She expressed her curiosity as to why the services of the police were required, and she promised to accept the invitation.
Before this recent incident, Phyna had been involved in a number of social media disputes after winning BBNaija in 2022. She also got into a fight with a policeman in Lagos in November during a stop-and-search. No chill whatsoever.
