Portable Finally Confirms Love Affair With Late Alaafin Of Oyo’s Wife, Queen Dami On Podcast
Portable has decided to publicly acknowledge that he is dating one of the wives of the Aalafin of Oyo to end the rumours and conjecture surrounding their relationship.
The rumours that the late Alaafin of Oyo’s wife, Queen Dami, and Nigerian musician and record label founder Habeeb Okikiola, well known as Portable, were romantically involved have finally received some official responses which have gotten varying reactions from netizens, some who are in support of the relationship and others who aren’t.
During an interview with On Air personality Nedu Wazobia on the Honest Bunch Podcast, the controversial musician confirmed his romantic relationship with the young Queen. The musician also admired her and shared that they have supported each other’s careers. He emphasized that their relationship is based on mutual respect and understanding.
This comes after screenshots of Portable and Dami’s exchanges, in which they used sweet expressions like “my king” and “my queen,” along with love emoticons, were posted online. The “Zazu” musician spoke about his relationship with Queen and said that if the King were still alive, he would not have approached her, but he had to, since “after king na king.”
When asked if the rumours were accurate, Portable responded:
“Queen Dami has been my fan from day one.
“When I now heard of the king’s death, after king na king. You wouldn’t have seen me with her if the king was still alive. I no dey follow person wife.”
