Raphael Saadiq Seals Management Deal With Forward Artist Management

Iconic singer and producer, Raphael Saadiq has signed with Tyler Childs of Forward Artist Management, the agency announced on Monday. the Grammy-winning and Oscar-nominated producer and singer-songwriter is a member of the American soul/R&B group Tony! Toni! Toné! And he recently embarked on a 25-year reunion tour with the band.

Both of Beyoncé’s most recent country hits, “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em,” which is presently the No. 1 song in the US, were co-written and produced by Saadiq. Beyoncé’s “Cuff It,” which he co-wrote and produced for her most recent album Renaissance, earned him the Grammy for best R&B song of the year.

He also has producing and co-writing credits on songs by Erykah Badu, Whitney Houston, Usher, Solange, Mary J. Blige, and Stevie Wonder. Jimmy Lee was Saadiq’s most recent solo album release. Along with Blige and Tara Stinson, he co-wrote the Academy Award-nominated song “Mighty River” from the movie Mudbound. Fox Rothschild’s Tim Mandelbaum is Saadiq’s representative.

Childs oversees RZA and the Wu-Tang Clan in addition to his role as VP of A&R/creative at Sony ATV Music Publishing. Tyler Cole, Sarah Cothran, and Benjamin Booker (under the management of Jacob Greene) are among the other artists represented by Forward Artist Management.
