Rema, Adekunle Gold, Ayra Starr And Other Music Stars Announced As Performers At Afro Nation Detroit 2024

This year, the largest celebration of Black music worldwide is returning to the United States with an all-star roster that will feature music from Africa and its diaspora. On August 17–18, Afro Nation Detroit 2024 will make a return visit to Bedrock’s Douglass Site, with Nigerian rapper and vocalist Rema as the headlining artist.

Along with PartyNextDoor, Adekunle Gold, Ayra Starr, Kash Doll, King Promise, Amaarae and Ruger, other musicians on the program will play on the main stage. Scorpion Kings, Uncle Waffles, Musa Keys, DBN GoGo, Kelvin Momo, TXC, Kamo Mphela, 2woBunnies, and DJ Moma will all be performing on the piano stage.

The festival’s official artwork revealed the “first wave of artists” on the schedule, with more to be revealed.

The event website will have tickets available for purchase starting today, March 27, at 9 a.m. EST for the second annual Afro Nation Detroit, presented by Bedrock and The Malachite Group.

The first Afro Nation Detroit, which drew tens of thousands of people each day and included headliners Burna Boy and Davido, is being built upon with an event that showcases genres like Afrobeats, amapiano, and hip-hop. In addition, Afro Nation organized talks for artists and business people before the festival.
