Sam Larry Taken Into Custody By The Police
In connection with the killing of Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as MohBad, music promoter Balogun Olamilekan Eletu, referred to as Sam Larry, is currently being held by police. Since the news of MohBad’s passing surfaced, Sam Larry, a friend of Azeez Fashola and popularly known as Naira Marley have been trending on Nigerian social media.
Despite his and Naira Marley’s denials of any wrongdoing, many have called for their arrest following their several altercations with MohBad, who split with Marlian Records in a contentious manner. Sam Larry was taken into jail on Thursday night, according to Lagos State Police Command spokesman SP Benjamin Hundeyin.
Sam Larry began trending on Twitter as soon as the police made their announcement, leading the trends at the top. Sam Larry may have surrendered to the police or may have been taken into custody against his will, but Hundeyin provided no information on either.
Less than a day after Naira Marley stated that Sam Larry was willing to fly back to Nigeria for investigation, the police began their investigation. The police, who performed an autopsy on MohBad last week, have sworn to see to it that the deceased receives justice.
Sam Larry was seen in the video breaking into Zlatan’s music video filming and attempting to harass Mohbad. Additionally, Naira Marley has been charged with ordering or inciting abuse against the late singer.
