The Lagos Coroner Summons Naira Marley, Primeboy, And Sam Larry In Connection With Mohbad’s Death
Adedayo Shotobi, the Coroner Magistrate, summoned Primeboy, Naira Marley, and Sam Larry to appear before him on October 25 in the continuing inquest to determine the cause of death of Mohbad and those responsible for the incident. The police have notified the coroner that they are awaiting the results of Mohbad’s autopsy in order to identify the exact cause of death.
As a result, the coroner has directed the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCID), Panti, to guarantee that the music stars attend the next adjourned hearing on October 25. Investigations into the reasons and circumstances of those deaths that are deemed to be unnatural, violent, or in cases where the cause is still unknown are the responsibility of the Coroner’s Court.8
On September 12, Mohbad passed away. His passing has generated debates on social media. Feyisola Ogedengbe, Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and Primeboy are among the suspects who are now being questioned by police as part of the inquiry into Mohbad’s death. Numerous Nigerians have protested around the country to demand justice for Mohbad.
Police exhumed Mohbad’s remains on September 21 and are awaiting the findings of the autopsy. Ogedengbe, the assistant nurse who gave injections to Mohbad, was recently identified by the Lagos police as the “prime suspect” in the singer’s demise.
