Mohbad’s Death: Court Rules Naira Marley, Sam Larry, Others To Remain In Police Custody As Investigation Progresses

The Mohbad case has begun to pick up steam after a Lagos State Magistrate Court on Wednesday ordered the detention of Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, in police custody.

Following the request by the Lagos State Police Command, Naira Marley and several other individuals were ordered to be remanded for 30 days while investigations were ongoing. On the other hand, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun ruled that Fashola and the others should only be remanded for 21 days. The ruling by the magistrate is likely to have an impact on the investigation, as the remand period is crucial in determining the time that the accused individuals will spend in custody before they are either charged or released.

This comes after the police issued an N1M bounty and declared Owodunni Ibrahim, alias Prime Boy, Mohbad’s childhood friend, wanted. Following his terrible passing on September 12, 2023, the death of 27-year-old Mohbad has been making news for several weeks. The circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death have raised questions and speculation among the public. Many demand a thorough investigation into the incident to uncover the truth behind his tragic demise.
