Stonebwoy Overtakes Davido On Apple Music Chart With New Project
On the Gold Coast’s Apple music chart, Ghanaian dancehall musician Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy, has surpassed Nigerian artist Davido and charts at number 1. Right now, one of the most sought-after projects in West Africa is the sixth studio album from the Ghanaian Reggae Act.
Since releasing his much-awaited fifth studio album, “5th Dimension,” Stonebwoy has been racking the numbers. Since most afrobeats tracks that have dominated charts are from Nigerian peers, he has become one of the few Ghanaians to have launched a record that has caused many in West Africa to turn their searchlights to Ghana again. The 17-track album, which included significant hitters like Shaggy, Mereba, Davido, Angelique Kidjo, Stormzy, and more, demonstrates Stonebwoy’s ongoing development as a musician and ability to produce catchy songs.
According to the latest developments, Davido’s blockbuster song “Unavailable,” which has topped Ghana’s Apple music chart since its debut in March, has been surpassed by the ninth track on the album, “Into The Future.” This is fantastic news for Ghanaians, as Nigerian performers and songs have dominated their country’s music scene lately.
