Stray Kids: Plans For Two New Albums And A World Tour In 2024 Underway

In 2024, K-pop boyband Stray Kids has hinted that they will release new music and go on a global tour. The K-pop boyband Stray Kids launched the 2024 version of their yearly “Step Out” video series on January 1st, New Year’s Day. In it, the group reflected on their accomplishments in 2023 and their aspirations for the following year. The eight-piece boyband hinted at plans in the trailer for a fan meeting, two music releases (an album and a unique album), and a globe tour in 2024. More video content will also be released by the group, including eight “SKZ-PLAYER” releases and fresh episodes of “2 Kids Show” and “1 Kid’s Room.” Stray Kids’ November mini-album “ROCK-STAR” featured the track “LALALALA,” which led to the band’s first Billboard Hot 100 appearance in 2023. They succeeded BTS as the only K-pop boyband to achieve this in history.

With two different releases, “ROCK-STAR” and “5-Star,” the octet peaked at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart that same year. With the releases of “Ordinary” and “Maxident,” they achieved chart-topping success twice the year before. The K-pop group won another prize at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards: Top K-Pop Album for “5-Star.” The Top Global K-Pop Artist trophy was won by the girl group NewJeans.
