Swizz Beatz And Timbaland Come At Triller With Additional Legal Action

Legendary Hip-hop producers, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland are still on Triller’s case, accusing the media  company of failing to follow the conditions of their recent Verzuz settlement agreement.

The two are requesting an additional payment from Triller in excess of $565,000 to cover legal bills in a new document that AllHipHop was able to get. They claim that the business is trying to raise the total amount through the use of an Affidavit of Confession of Judgment, despite not having honored its $100,000 original payment.

Triller will owe them $565,000 plus nine percent interest, assuming their order is successful. Swizz and Timbaland said in their original complaint that Triller had promised to give them $18 million by March 20, 2022, and an extra $1 million each month for the next ten months. In the end, they came to a $28 million deal.

At the onset of the COVID-19 epidemic, Swizz and Timbaland launched Verzuz. The world was under lockdown in 2020 owing to the COVID-19 epidemic that was raging at the time. Individuals found comfort in utilizing social media to connect with others in novel ways, and Verzuz became a popular idea.

As their favorite musicians performed old hits again, tens of millions of listeners tuned in. It has since become extremely popular, with many celebrities, including as Alicia Keys, Snoop Dogg, Dipset, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and many more, making appearances on different episodes.
