Shania Twain Has Praises For Taylor Swift’s Work Ethic
In a recent cover profile with Haute Living, the legendary country singer Shania Twain shared her admiration for Taylor Swift. During the interview, Twain spoke candidly about her struggles with accepting credit for her innate talent and drew parallels with Swift’s work ethic. According to Twain, Swift’s relentless pursuit of excellence sets her apart. This isn’t the first time Twain has praised the young singer. In fact, in 2022, Shania publicly congratulated Swift after she broke Twain’s long-standing US chart record. Shania Twain is set to perform the legends’ slot at Glastonbury this year, cementing her status as one of the most iconic figures in country music history.
Shania said,
“I wouldn’t say I’m proud of anything I’ve done. Pride is not a great word for me, because I don’t think you can take credit for creative gifts if you were born with them; you can only take credit for developing them. What I would say I’m proud of is that I had the courage to take risks, that I could be so hard-working and dedicated.”

There is a stark contrast between Twain’s and Courtney Love’s views regarding the talented pop singer Taylor Swift. While Twain has admired Swift, Love has recently criticized her, claiming that she lacks significance and artistic merit.
