SZA Shares On New Album ‘Lana’

SZA, the talented singer, songwriter, and artist, recently gave an exciting update on her much-awaited third album, ‘Lana.’ According to SZA, she is allowing the album to shape and form itself naturally. She’s being intentional about not commenting on its status because she believes that doing so could alter the energy and trajectory of the album, which she wants to avoid.

SZA’s creative space is beautiful, and she’s excited about what’s happening. Her incredible talent and hard work were recently acknowledged at the 66th Grammys, where she won three awards: Best Progressive R&B Album for ‘SOS,’ Best R&B Song for ‘Snooze,’ and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for ‘Ghost In The Machine’ featuring Boygenius’ Phoebe Bridgers. She also performed ‘Kill Bill’ and ‘Snooze’ at the ceremony, a testament to her outstanding musical abilities. After the release of ‘SOS,’ SZA initially planned to release a deluxe album version. However, she changed her heart and decided to save the extra songs for ‘Lana.’ SZA hinted at an “intimate” tour in December to support the album once it’s released, which her fans eagerly await. Recently, SZA performed a new song titled ‘DTM’ at a Brooklyn Apple Live concert, which is believed to be from ‘Lana.’ This hints at the album’s potential to be another masterpiece from SZA.
