Tems Performs In South Africa For Amstel Lager

Talented Afrobeats musician, Temilade Openiyi, mostly recognized as Tems, has just shut down South Africa with her electrifying performance. Last month, the artist announced the show via her Twitter page, urging her SA fans to get ready for a good time. The event took place in Johannesburg as Friends of Amstel brought new and old friends together through the enjoyment of music, which is the tangible representation of Amstel Lager’s durable quality.

The forthcoming festival also featured performances by several local artists, including Scorpion Kings, AKA, DBN Gogo, Young Stunna, Shimza, and Harrison Crump. The festival was reportedly invitation-only. Tems has also shared a short clip of her performance in bits, which was a pure vibe. How the crowd lit up when her hit song, “Free Mind,” came on was wild. The love was so real. Coming off that incredible performance, Tems noticed she had been nominated for a Golden Globe! Like, can life get any better!
