Lil Wayne Opens Up On Drake Being With His Girl While In Jail

Kendrick Lamar’s latest diss track against Drake, “Not Like Us,” has caused quite a stir. On “Like That,” Lil Wayne found himself caught in the middle of it all, as the track contains several claims that involve him and his relationship with Drake. According to Lamar’s lyrics, Drake slept with Wayne’s girlfriend while he was in prison and even got a tattoo of Wayne’s face to apologize. However, it turns out that this is not a new revelation. In a 2016 HipHollywood interview, Lil Wayne spoke about this matter and suggested that while it didn’t happen precisely as Kendrick presented, it still hurt. Lil Wayne’s book “Gone Til November” reportedly indicates that Drake’s sexual encounter occurred the day before Wayne’s mentor met this girl and not while he was in jail.

The situation goes deeper than just a claim. Lil Wayne was deeply affected by what happened and reportedly wrote in his book that finding out that she f***ed Drake was the absolute worst thing I could’ve ever found out… As a man, honestly, that s**t hurt. And not because it was Drake; it could have been any man. It would’ve hurt the same.” TMZ also reported that Lil Wayne didn’t leave his cell for days after discovering the incident. The moral character of Drake is being judged by many, although it doesn’t seem like it was his fault. There are claims on these diss tracks that Kendrick Lamar and Drake must answer with proof. It remains to be seen if there’s more to the tale.
