Teni Discloses She Currently Funds 20 Children’s Schooling

Renowned Nigerian singer Teni has returned to the limelight, but not just because of her musical skills.

This past weekend, on Saturday, May 4, the singer proudly announced her support for education on social media, X, announcing that she sponsored the schooling of 20 students. The “Billionaire” songstress wrote, “I Got 20 Kids in School,” on her X account, highlighting her significant donations to education.

Her financial backing is widespread among several respected Nigerian universities, such as Babcock University, Covenant University, and Redeemers University. Teni revealed that her sponsorship of secondary school kids is an additional manifestation of her charitable endeavors, which go beyond higher education.

Teni claims to maintain the education and welfare of ten children enrolled in private secondary schools spread across different parts of Nigeria, such as the East, Lagos, and Jos, and they all have to attend boarding schools. Teni’s dedication to education, which she demonstrated by her active participation in their lives, is a source of hope for Nigerian young.

She challenges fellow countrymen, saying, “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE????” AS A CITIZEN OF THIS COUNTRY,” starting a discussion on our shared accountability for the development of this country. Teni has inspired many with her commitment to education and calls on them to make constructive contributions to their local communities and the country as a whole.
