The Headies 2024 Returns To Nigeria Following Two International Editions

The Headies Awards, a well-known event that honors outstanding performers in Nigeria’s entertainment business, will be going back to its origins.

The 16th Headies are returning home to Nigeria for their upcoming edition, having previously taken place in the United States. After holding the ceremony in the US since 2022, the decision was made to return the award presentation to its native nation.

This year: 2024, we are bringing the world back home: To the place that birthed the sound that has led everbody to the dancefloor, that has launched viral videos, that has put our continent right at the centre of global pop culture.

The Hip Hop World Magazine of Nigeria founded the Headies, also called the Hip Hop World Awards, in 2006 to honor exceptional accomplishments in the country’s music sector. It developed into a forum for acknowledging and celebrating the accomplishments of artists and business leaders over time.
