Tiwa Savage Discloses Her Next Project Will Be Purely R&B
Tiwa Savage, Nigeria’s award-winning diva, has confirmed that her next album will feature primarily R&B. Tiwa Savage came into the Nigerian mainstream in 2012 with an R&B sound that displayed her Western inspirations, wowed audiences, and set her up for a meteoric rise.
Tiwa Savage has been one of Africa’s most popular and commercial singers for over a decade, with her music attracting her millions of fans worldwide and earning her numerous honors. Tiwa Savage claimed in a new interview with Dotty Show on Apple Music that her next album will be all conventional R&B, as she plans to return to her first passion.
Tiwa disclosed that she plans to release a couple more songs while preparing for her next album when answering questions regarding the possibilities of a new project before her November gig in London. The singer will be the first female Afrobeats artist to headline the OVO Wembley Arena, which has a capacity of 13,000 people.
Tiwa Savage had a fantastic year in 2023, with her single ‘Stamina’ concluding the first half of the year in Pulse’s Top 10 Songs and her cameo appearances on Spyro’s hit record ‘Who’s Your Guy’. Her performance at King Charles III’s Coronation ceremony also created history.
