Victony Goes Back To FUTO To Complete His IT Defense

Anthony Ebuka Victor, also known as Victony, is a Nigerian R&B musician who has motivated young people to prioritize their education at all times. A day after performing at a concert, the “Holy Father” singer returned to the university to complete his IT project defense. Victony had previously tweeted that he had a show and an IT defense that were only separated by 24 hours and would attend to both.

His actions at the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO), which he promised to do, were true to his word and created a stir on campus. Footage showed the artist entering the school grounds wearing a brown suit and black shoes. Other students tried to approach him, but he was guarded by a bodyguard who led the way into the hallway. An overjoyed fan who saw him and managed to snap a selfie was shocked because he could not believe that despite being famous, he decided to go back to school to finish his defense.

Besides shutting down his headline show in Lagos, Victony has been on the upswing, bagging some major career-changing features and finding satisfaction from watching his sophomore EP, Outlaw, do damage on the chart and spinning off blazing singles like Apollo and Soweto that is still enjoying massive airplay.
