Ik Ogbonna Biography

Ik Ogbonna grew up in a middle-class Lagos State household of six. He is from Abia State, Nigeria’s Southeast geopolitical region. He is an Igbo by ethnicity. In Lagos State, he went to both primary and high school. In high school, he won the Milo Awards for Fine Arts. He later pursued a sociology degree at the University of Jos in Plateau State.

IK Ogbonna started his profession after earning his tertiary degree. He auditioned to be a participant in the Amstel Malta Box Office TV show in 2005, and his application was accepted. He joined Nollywood, the Nigerian film business, due to his brilliance on the reality show.

IK Ogbonna met Elvis Chuks in 2006/2007 during his personal growth and discovery period. As the one who formally introduced him to the acting world, he has frequently acknowledged Elvis Chuks. In March 2018, IK said a lady posing as a fan nearly raped him. Speaking to reporters, the Actor said that the woman who pretended to be a fan threatened to have him raped and blackmailed him.

He is known to be friends with Alexx Ekubo.
