Tia Dashon Mowry, known simply aS Tia Mowry, is an American actress. She was born in German to a soldier father and security guard mother but her parents moved to the United States soon after. It is in the States that Tia quickly grew into the notable actress that she is today.

She began her career by competing in pageant shows while her family was resident in Texas. The family moved to California soon after. It was in this city that Tia’s acting career took root and eventually flowered. She appeared in commercials, snagged small roles and eventually worked her way to the top, where she is today.
