Rapper Ice Spice, real name Isis Gaston, was born in the United States on January 1, 2000. Rapping from 2021, she became well-known for her 2022 track “Munch (Feelin’ U)”. Isis Gaston was born and raised in the Bronx on Fordham Road. She is of Dominican and African-American descent, and her father was formerly known as a rapper. She attended a Bronx school up until she was transferred to a Yonkers Catholic high school.

She began to enjoy hip hop when she was seven years old after listening to artists like Lil’ Kim. In 2021, while both were students at SUNY Purchase, where Ice Spice finally dropped out, producer Cook Babes exposed Ice Spice to rapping. Drake supported Ice Spice and played her song “Munch (Feeling U)” on his Sirius XM radio station, Sound 42, which helped the song become popular.
