Lily Allen Gives Update On New Music; Says “There’s No Deadline To Finish”
Lily Allen, the British singer and actor, recently gave an update on her upcoming new music, revealing that she has no specific deadline for its release. During an episode of Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett’s Dish podcast, Allen was asked whether she felt pressure from her record label executives to create a particular type of material. In response, Allen stated that she has been given a lot of creative freedom and that her label has not imposed any restrictions on her music style or content.
Furthermore, Allen shared that she has been experimenting with different genres in the recording studio, including country and Western music. She was enthusiastic about trying out new sounds and exploring various musical styles. Despite the uncertainty regarding the release date of her new music, Allen seems to be enjoying the creative process of making music and exploring new avenues. Allen’s music career spans over a decade, and she has recently released four studio albums. Her most recent album, “No Shame,” was released in 2018 and received critical acclaim.
