“A Shame And Disappointment”: Iyabo Ojo Calls Out INEC Over Polls

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has come under fire from Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo for negative news regarding the ongoing gubernatorial election. The actress mentioned that there had been adverse reports regarding their conduct, mainly from Lagos. This has been the case during this year’s polls as the electorate has decried the poor conduct of the elections, thuggery, and electoral malpractices.

Iyabo Ojo criticized colleagues like Lege Miami, who confronted her about her reporting on the eelection’sproblems by calling them a disgrace and disappointment to the nation.

“inecnigeria, you people are such a shame and disappointment to our dear country Nigeria… See the bad reports here and there if I start to repost now… Some mutherfuckers will start to scream it’s fake; it’s fake… Awon werey”

During the Presidential election, Iyabo Ojo ran into issues with her colleagues and APC members over her reporting of the poll results. Actor Adams Kehinde, also known as Lege Miami, criticized Iyabo Ojo for posting what he thought were erroneous election results regarding Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Lege reminded Iyabo Ojo about how MC Oluomo donated her N3 million, paid her kids’ tuition, and put them in a hotel. The actress was attempting to smear his party by tweeting fictitious election results. He advised Iyabo not to call him should APC win since he would be occupied.

Iyabo Ojo, who is not easily intimidated, responded to him and posted a voice note of her conversation with Lege. The Yoruba actor begged Iyabo to stop publishing several election results in the voice note. Instead, he advised her to keep having fun and remember that many people (especially her followers) listen to her.

Iyabo retorted, calling him out for trying to tell her what to do with her page. The mother of two stated that she doesn’t see the significance of his rage because she merely shares election news from various blogs and workmates on her page.
