Iyabo Ojo Meets With The Lagos Police Commissioner Regarding Mohbad’s Passing
Following the death of top Nigerian musician Mohbad and the subsequent scandals, actresses Iyabo Ojo, Foluke Daramola, Kiekie, and others visited the commissioner of police’s office. After Mohbad died on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27, many Nigerians demanded justice for him after frightening videos of him being bullied, purportedly by his previous record label, went public.
In a new development, Iyabo informed fans on her official Instagram page that because their peaceful walk for Mohbad, set for September 19, had been canceled, the commissioner of police had requested them to come to his office to discuss the situation.

Iyabo, who has been quite involved in the Mohbad case, informed her admirers that the meeting’s proceedings would be posted on her Instagram page. She asked people to leave any inquiries for the cops in the comments area. Social Media users praised Iyabo Ojo and her colleagues for their actions in the aftermath of Mohbad’s death. Many others had questions for the cops as well.
Iyabo Ojo has also revealed that the nurse who treated Mohbad just before he passed away has been arrested. She disclosed this in a video message posted to her Instagram page on Wednesday night, in which she also updated followers on the status of the police investigation into Mohbad’s death and her meeting with the Lagos State Commissioner of Police.
