Actress Yvonne Nelson Reveals Aborting Her Pregnancy For Sarkodie

Heavyweight Ghanaian musician Michael Owusu Addo, better known by his stage name Sarkodie, is currently in the news after Ghanaian actress and model Yvonne Nelson claimed to have aborted his child in the past. The actress made the surprising admission in her recently released autobiography, “I am not Yvonne Nelson,” claiming she had an abortion in 2010 for the two-time BET Hip Hop Award winner following a brief romance.

In chapter eight of her new book, which was released on Sunday, the actress revealed how the purported abortion allegedly took place on pages 88 to 95. She admitted that she wouldn’t describe her connection with the rapper as a serious one when asked about it.

She claimed that at the time, she was drawn to those who worked in the music business. In the book, Yvonne discussed her attempts to abort the pregnancy by consuming mixtures made by a coworker, but the drugs were futile because a pregnancy test revealed that she was still carrying the child.
