Adekunle Gold And Simi Release The Acoustic Version Of Their Romantic Duet “Look What You Made Me Do”

“Look What You Made Me Do,” a song by Nigerian artist Adekunle Gold and his wife Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, has been released in an acoustic form. Gold announced the PR initiative on his social media accounts on Saturday night.

Simi, on her part, thought back to how she ‘aired’ Gold on Facebook for years before deciding to marry him. In addition, Simi’s piano serves as the only accompaniment for the lovebirds’ lyrics and verses in the acoustic rendition.

The closeness shown in the visuals further conveys the depth of their connection and chemistry. The official music video for the new song was released by Gold via his official YouTube channel. Renowned Nigerian director DK directed the music video.

‘Look What You Made Me Do’ is a track from Gold’s 2023 release, “Tequila Ever After,” their fifth album. Gold released the music video for the lead single last week to commemorate their fifth wedding anniversary.

A series of intimate close-ups show off the couple’s chemistry, and the calm setting perfectly balances their lively banter full of bright, vibrant energy. Recently, Gold also wrapped up a highly publicized North American tour, put together by Live Nation and Duke Concept, during which he sang tracks off his new Tequila Ever After album nightly for packed houses.
