Apple Music has selected the five most popular Nigerian artists of all time on the digital streaming platform. As Nigeria’s independence anniversary approaches, the streaming provider Apple Music has verified the five greatest Nigerian artists of all time on the music platform.

Burna Boy is the top Nigerian musician of all time, according to Apple Music’s Oshe Naija campaign on the music app, with Wizkid coming in second, Davido third, Rema fourth, and Asake fifth. This is hardly surprising given that these top acts have continued to dominate the rankings while also setting and breaking previous records with their projects over the years.

Burna who currently holds the title of most-streamed Nigerian artist of all time on Apple Music, has broken numerous records with his hit albums, and his most recent was no exception. “I Told Them…” not only broke the African record for first-week streams but also peaked at the top of the albums chart in 69 countries simultaneously worldwide, setting a new record for Afrobeats.
