T-Pain Reportedly Making Another “On Top Of The Covers” Album

T-Pain, the talented American rapper, singer, and songwriter, has once again proven his musical prowess by announcing that he is working on a sequel to his album, On Top of the Covers. During his surprise appearance at the Stagecoach Festival, T-Pain performed some of his best-known hit songs, including “All I Do Is Win” and “Buy U A Drank.” In addition, he delighted the audience by performing a cover of “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” by Toby Keith.

Jelly Roll, the American rapper, was full of praise for T-Pain’s original album and revealed that it’s what inspired him to invite T-Pain on stage. T-Pain, in turn, confirmed that part two of the album is coming “real soon” and advised his fans to “get ready for that.” The first album, which was released last year in March, featured T-Pain’s unique take on popular songs like Black Sabbath, Journey, Sam Cooke, and many more.

T-Pain started working on the covers album years ago when he won The Masked Singer in 2019. However, the project had to be put on hold for a while. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, T-Pain revealed that the album has been in the making for years, and he feels very strongly about it. He said, “These songs are not what you’d expect when you hear that T-Pain is doing a covers album, and that is what I think is cool about it.” He also mentioned that he is now independent and can do whatever he wants through Nappy Boy Entertainment. Although T-Pain did not provide any further details on the release date or what songs fans can expect from the project, the anticipation for the upcoming album is high. T-Pain’s fans are eagerly waiting for more updates, and they can’t wait to see what this talented artist has in store for his listening audience.
