Ariana Grande And Her Brother Frankie Celebrate The 98th Birthday Of Their Grandmother
Ariana and Frankie Grande have another year to celebrate with their grandmother!
On Instagram Friday, Frankie, 40, provided a glimpse into a major party for his grandmother’s 98th birthday, which included photos of his parents and his pop star sister, as well as a lovely note to honor the event. The Broadway singer began his Instagram post with a photo of himself and Ariana, 30, posing next to their grandmother, who was dressed in a golden sash and crown that read “Birthday Queen.”
The Wicked actress had her lips pursed, while Frankie and his grandmother smiled warmly. Joan Grande, the siblings’ mother, also made a brief appearance in other images, dressed completely in black.
Hale Leon, Frankie’s husband, also posed with the couple in front of a backdrop of balloons that said “98.” Frankie and Ariana were both close to their grandmothers. Nonna was one of the few individuals Frankie told about his plans to propose to Leon ahead of time.
Ariana and Nonna share a special affinity as well. The “Thank U, Next” singer was accompanied by her grandmother to the 2014 VMAs as her plus one, and she also got matching tattoos with the family matriarch after winning Woman of the Year.
