Asake, a YBNL Signee, has given TG Omori some food for thought. The Sungba artist is in the news for switching from his preferred video director to a foreigner. Asake was filming a new music video, and TG Omori was not the director, as seen in the video that Ghazi released. Fans conjectured that Asake is upset with TG due to his latest endeavor, “Yoga,” not receiving as much attention as his prior videos.
When the “Yoga” music video was released, it caused controversy when many people expressed their displeasure with it and accused Asake of purchasing streams. Another said that Asake is sick of shelling out $30,000 for TG Omori to shoot a music video when he will not get enough views on YouTube.
The new information comes close to a month after TG revealed how long it had taken him to edit the Yoga music video. The video, according to TG, was the quickest edit he had ever completed in his career. He announced this on social media. The award-winning music director claimed the video editing process only took four hours.
Asake’s first official release after dropping his debut album was the reflective song “Yoga,” produced by Magic Sticks.
