ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo Pays Heartfelt Tribute To Late Bandmate Moonbin

Cover of 10cm's 'Stalker' Released in Honor of Moonbin

In a touching tribute to his late bandmate, Cha Eun-woo of K-pop boyband ASTRO has released a cover of 10cm’s ‘Stalker.’ The song was released on his official YouTube channel at exactly 2:23am KST, a nod to ASTRO’s debut date of February 23, 2016.

Before the cover’s release, Cha Eun-woo shared an archival clip on Instagram Stories of Moonbin performing ‘Stalker’ during a karaoke session. The story was captioned with the words: “My friend.” The cover of ‘Stalker’ was accompanied by a simple music video, featuring Cha Eun-woo performing the song at his desk while reading the lyrics from a piece of paper.

‘Stalker’ is known among fans of ASTRO as one of Moonbin’s favorite songs. Moonbin, one of the six founding members of ASTRO, passed away last month at the age of 25. His loss has been deeply felt within the K-pop community, with fans and fellow artists expressing their grief and condolences.

In related news, ASTRO is preparing for another comeback in May, as confirmed by their music label, Fantagio. This will be their first comeback in 2023, and fans are eagerly anticipating their return to the stage. Despite the loss of Moonbin, the group continues to honor his memory through their music and dedication to their fans.
