BBNaija All Stars Champ, Ilebaye, Promises To Pay Tithe From Her Prize Money
Ilebaye Odiniya, the winner of Big Brother Naija All-Stars edition, has declared that she will pay 10% of the N120 million prize money she received from the reality TV show, or N12 million, to her church. On Sunday, October 1, 2023, Ilebaye, a 22-year-old actress and model from Kogi State, defeated five other contestants to claim the title of Season 8 BBNaija winner.
Days later, she received a brand-new automobile and a check for N120 million as part of the prize presentation ceremony. IIebaye has now said that she will donate a portion of the proceeds to her church as an act of thanksgiving to God for her success. While answering inquiries from fans over the weekend, she revealed this.
Ilebaye has also lately explained why she felt overlooked by the other housemates when she was in charge. Ilebaye took over as Head of House in the weeks leading up to the Big Brother Naija All Stars season finale. She had problems convincing her fellow housemates to do what she instructed, and she regularly argued with them about it.
During an Instagram live session regarding her time as Head of House, Ilebaye stated that her colleagues may have ignored her because they were “intimidated” by her.
