Bella Shmurda Applauds Olamide For Being There For Him

Renowned Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has opened up about the important part that renowned rapper Olamide played in advancing the careers of up-and-coming musicians.

In a new interview, the “Loner” singer showed great admiration for Olamide and acknowledged him as a mentor to many up-and-coming musicians trying to make their names for themselves. Bella Shmurda highlighted Olamide’s steadfast dedication to helping emerging artists in spite of his own widespread recognition.

The singer claims that Olamide has been instrumental in setting up up-and-coming musicians for success in their particular musical genres. The singer continued to show his sincere appreciation for Olamide, saying that if his kids asked him who had really helped him out in life, Olamide’s name would come up first—even before that of his own mother.

Bella Shmurda went on to say that, in his opinion, Olamide has more support and influence in the music business than anyone else. Bella Shmurda praised Olamide, the YBNL label head, for his unwavering support of African music awards, pointing out that he is the only internationally famous singer who still does so.

Regardless of their Grammy achievements, he urged international artists to support and value African music awards and urged African artists to treat the Afrobeat genre with more respect.
