Burna Boy Is The First Afrobeats Artist To Set A Historic Audiomack Record
Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and performer, has broken an afrobeats milestone by being the genre’s first and only artist to reach one billion streams on the online streaming service Audiomack.
Burna Boy, who hasn’t put out a song or album since 2023, had fans pumped up with sneak peeks of tracks they may expect from him as time goes on. The singer gave more than 40,000 fans in Paris a night to remember while reaffirming his status as one of the greatest Nigerian artists of all time as he launched his “Love Damini” stadium tour.
Burna Boy will also co-headline the 2023 UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show by Pepsi, which will take place on Saturday, June 10, at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul. The African Giant, well known for his international hit singles Last Last and It’s Plenty, will entertain millions of spectators before to the start of the largest club match in football with his enthusiasm and soulful Afrobeats vibes.
