In France, Burna Boy, the celebrated Nigerian Afro-fusion star, received a Diamond certification for his 2022 hit song “Last Last,” adding yet another incredible accomplishment to his already impressive career.
Chart Data reports that the French music trade group, the National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP), which keeps tabs on music sales in the European nation, certified Burna’s 2022 summer anthem as a diamond record.
The song had qualified for Platinum certification in January having sold more than a million copies in the United States alone.
Burna Boy celebrated his new win on via his X handle. As we all know, “Last Last” was one of the standout tracks on Burna Boy’s sixth studio album, “Love, Damini,” which was published in 2022. This noteworthy accomplishment complements his previous credentials of certified hits under his belt.
