Damon Dash Wants His Child Support Allowances Lowered; Gives Reason

Babymama drama is everywhere, and this time, it’s relating to Damon Dash. The record label OG is seriously complaining about his earnings last year and sees no way he can put up with the high child support allowance. In fact, he has gone on to tell the judge how he feels and what he wants, even though no judgment has been passed yet. Remember, Dame pays Rachel about $3,000 a month to assist with their child. He claims to have a very low yearly salary and is pleading with the judge to drastically reduce the child support that his baby mama is due each month since he cannot afford it.

The co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records has submitted fresh court documents in his custody battle with Rachel Roy, with whom he has a kid. In these documents, he is requesting that the court reduce his monthly child support payments to her by a significant amount. Dame claims that all he can afford is $428. In addition, Dame provided explanations for the reasons for the struggles of the enterprises, many of which he claimed had just not worked out and for which he was unable to raise the necessary funds. He then goes on to detail his total revenue for the entire year 2022, mentioning a somewhat astonishing sum. He claims to have only brought in roughly $5,000, according to DD. In particular, he claims to have earned $5,140 and nothing more. Dame claims that since 2020, his financial flow has drastically decreased and maintains that he never fully recovered from the epidemic when he had no work.

Rachel has already responded to this, and in it, she refutes Dame’s allegation of extreme poverty. According to her own documents, which the media was able to access, Dame still has a sizable ownership stake in Roc-A-Fella, which she says should be putting money in his pocket. She also says he has additional sources of income that he is merely not telling the court about.

Either way, there’s no doubt that Dame loves his kids. He even posts them online.
