Davido, the international Afrobeats sensation, has finally addressed his supporters on social media after losing in three categories at the 66th Grammy Awards. With three nominations this year, fans were hoping Davido would win his first Grammy. The much awaited event had created a great deal of enthusiasm among them.

In the competition for Best Global Album, Davido and fellow countryman Burna Boy were defeated by Shakti. Davido’s “Timeless” records, Burna Boy’s “I Told Them,” and other albums were defeated by the World Fusion Band’s LP, “This Moment.”
