Davido Identifies His Favorite UK Musician
In a recent interview with KissFresh FM, multiple award-winning musician and performer Davido revealed his favorite UK artist. The singer, who recently released ‘Timeless,’ undoubtedly one of the biggest albums of 2023, claimed that his current favorite UK musician is the rapper Central Cee.
Although his response may sound cliche, David said that the rapper currently dominating the UK music industry is his favorite artist in the UK. He also said he would tell him this if he saw or met him. Davido held a fantastic concert in Lagos, the United Kingdom, and the United States to commemorate his comeback and the successful release of his fourth studio album, ‘Timeless.’
The singer embarked on a media tour, where he talked about what the album meant to him and his intentions for the rest of the year. One of these plans was verified with the announcement of his North America ‘Timeless’ tour, which would begin on July 1st, 2023, and end on November 18th, 2023. And while he gets set to kickstart his global tour, the artist also revealed plans to delve into filmmaking.
Davido stated in a conversation with Steven Bertoni of the esteemed American publication Forbes that he wants to move from music production to cinema and start a media firm to support tales from Nigerian authors and directors.
