Dead & Company Confirm Residency At Las Vegas Sphere For 2024

The rock band Dead & Company, whose lineup includes Bob Weir and Mickey Hart from The Grateful Dead, along with John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge, Jeff Chimenti, and Jay Lane, have announced that they will be performing a residency at the Las Vegas Sphere in 2024. The band teased this highly anticipated residency through a social media post on January 31, featuring glimpses of the Grateful Dead’s iconic ‘Steal Your Face’ logo on the sphere of the cutting-edge venue.

Although the band has yet to reveal specific dates, Rolling Stone has confirmed that Dead & Company will perform at least 15 shows in the spring. This news comes after recent reports that the American rock band would be following in the footsteps of U2 and Phish in holding residencies at the $2 billion venue.

It is worth noting that in 2022, Dead & Company hinted that their “final tour” in 2023 could potentially be their last time playing live together. So, this residency at the Las Vegas Sphere is a significant event for fans of the band who want to catch them live one last time before they potentially call it a day.

“In 2023, Dead & Company played their final tour,”.

“But there are other ways to make sure the music never stops. And it’s gonna be a ball.”
