Depeche Mode’s ‘Memento Mori’ Tour Finale Teases ‘People Are Good’ Video & Remix Pack

Depeche Mode, one of the most influential and successful electronic music bands, is concluding their extensive ‘Memento Mori’ tour with a bang. To celebrate the end of their monumental UK and European tour dates, the band has released a massive remix package of ‘People Are Good’. The track, which was originally part of their latest album ‘Memento Mori’ released in 2023, has become a fan favourite.

Rich Hall directed the music video for ‘People Are Good’, a true work of art. The video features an art-inspired variety of black-and-white snippets that capture the darker side of society. The band’s performance is filmed in a dark and moody setting that perfectly complements the track’s emotional depth. The new remixes of the track, created by renowned artists such as Alessandro Cortini, Ludwig A.F., SiGNL, Obskür, and Indira Paganotto, offer a fresh take on the popular song. Depeche Mode has also released physical versions of the remixes. The final vinyl pre-order for their ‘Memento Mori’ White Label Remix Series is available exclusively on the band’s website in the US and at select physical retailers in Europe. This monthly drop of 12″ vinyl singles builds on the digital-only remixes of ‘Memento Mori’s singles. The final edition includes ‘Before We Drown/People Are Good’.

The ‘Memento Mori’ tour has been a massive success for the band, receiving rave reviews for their performances across Europe and the UK. The penultimate show of the tour took place on April 5th at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, with the final show taking place on April 8th at the same venue. Last June, the band performed at Twickenham Stadium, their first show in the capital in nearly six years and their first since losing longtime bandmate and close friend Andy Fletcher. Depeche Mode has been a force to be reckoned with for over four decades, known for their unique blend of synth-pop and rock sounds. Their music has influenced countless artists worldwide, and their ‘Memento Mori’ tour has been a testament to their continued success and popularity.
